I remember, as a kid, opening my first bank account at the Chase branch in my hometown, and the excitement of occasionally visiting there to deposit any checks I might have. I’m still a Chase customer, and I interact frequently with my Chase account for all sorts of reasons. But it’s been many years since I visited a physical Chase location. My relationship with Chase has transcended any need for the branch. I don’t think I’m alone in this: the Chase branch in my hometown, where I would once deposit checks, closed in 2023. The building now houses a doctor’s office.
